I have decided to leave coaching. I will be pursuing a new career as an umpire. I have been preparing for this move ever since I became a coach, always helping umpires do their job better.I feel as a great servant to umpires as a coach it was time to become one. #yadslooflirpa

In honor of the College World Series final game tonight, a memory of my dad wearing his infamous Superman shirt. Dad passed 3 years ago, but no before accepting Christ 40 days before his passing. Superman shirts are still being worn today.

At a middle school game tonight and an 8th grade pitcher threw 110 pitches in 4 innings where he gave up 13 runs. I felt bad for this young man who battled and visibly tired. Too many pitches for a 14 year old from 60 feet. Not good for the kid or the game of baseball.

To experience over 1,000 plus Sox players committing to colleges over the years has truly been a blessing no doubt, but tonight God has made it even more special for me. Congrats @joeycaruso2023, I am so proud of the young man and teammate you have become.
I am humbled to announce I will be continuing my academic/athletic career @UAH_BSB I want to thank God for giving me the ability to play the game I love, my parents, coaches, and teammates for all their support. @eastcoastbball @CvilleBaseball_ @jmunier15 @ShauneHoliday

Proud dad moment! @joeycaruso2023 gets first collegiate hit and follows with a 2B to pullside gap. Not the team outcome we want, but freshman 1st hit is exciting.

CRUCIFIXION ON THE CROSS BRINGS US: 1. Jesus's blood gives us direct access to God as the curtain was torn from top to bottom. 2. Jesus's blood guarantees our resurrection and hope in heaven. 3. Jesus's blood gives hope to the hopeless, who are the greatest of sinners.

Thankful for 2020 and @eastcoastbball. My dad passed away in August and this will be my 1st Thanksgiving without him. He accepted Christ at a Sox devotional this summer in Marietta, GA, and as tough as 2020 has been, this was a blessing to see my dad raise His hand for Christ.
Happy Thanksgiving 2020 This has been a tough year for many families, but always remember God is Sovereign and He will always provide what we need. Therefore, be thankful for what we have and do not dwell on what we don't. God's love is never ending. bible.com/111/1th.5.16-1…

Absolutely incredible... We all must be unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If our heros can pray and kneel on the field for prayer to the Almighty God, then we can pray our thoughts and prayers for others as well. Be bold believers in Jesus, be bold.
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen on TV. This ESPN corespondent made “thoughts and prayers” more than just a cliche statement. He actually prayed live on the air for Buffalo Bills Damar Hamlin.
