Hi friends! I have exciting news to share... I've joined @apollographql as a Sr Developer Advocate!
I'll be helping developers who work with REST APIs successfully integrate their services into GraphQL by using Connectors to quickly build subgraphs for a federated architecture

- I had the opportunity to speak to incoming 9th graders at @TheSEEDSchoolMD. Apparently this is what I look like trying to hype kids up about being a dev and what devrel is. They are building robots, learning python and JS! So different from my high school. So impressed!
- Replying to @venikuncheWow. The level of rage I feel about this has me typing and deleting responses to this so fast. I can't decide on something not full of vitriol so I will just say this...the way she was treated isn't unusual for women. He just said the quiet part out loud.
- Had a bit of rain and all the flower petals fell off the trees to create magical pink sidewalks. 10/10 for mama natch.
- I am officially 1 year as a dev advocate this month! Should I write a blog post about my experiences? Thinking it could be useful to anyone considering this path as the role varies in different companies.
- Always something valuable to learn from @virtualized6ix and @eddiejaoude Set your reminder ๐ x.com/i/spaces/1gqxvโฆ
- Replying to @CoraCHarrington"what do you mean you can win the popular vote and still lose"
- I just bought fresh new legal pads and feel like I can accomplish anything now. Where all my physical note takers out there? I find it so satisfying.
- Tech check complete! Only a few more talks to go here @jsconfbp
- If LinkedIn thinks I'm a Java expert, okay to add to my resume?
- New release just dropped๐ฅณโจ Thanks everyone near and far for the birthday wishes. Spent it stuffing my face with great food and wine. Ready to welcome the next year and all it holds
- Replying to @shashiwhocodesWell my jaw dropped at $150k for a junior role that is also fully remote ๐ But I would say if you aren't hiring successfully, that's a hiring process problem and potentially a junior mentorship/onboarding problem. A blanket no to self-taught juniors seems shortsighted to me
- I asked @marktechson for some pointers on how to get to the next level as a speaker and while it's fresh in my brain I wanna share it with you all so you can benefit from his expertise as well... paraphrasing in ๐งต
