- Replying to @PeteOtwayTry spending an hour ironing the "wrinkles " out of your daughter's skirt...they were pleats. (Whatever the frig they are.)
- I had a guy on the phone asking me to DJ at a house party this weekend for around 30 or 40 people. He became quite irate when I refused. Idiots are everywhere.
- Our John will be heading to Liverpool to study law. Proud isn't the word!
- I've been in the Ulster Hospital all day and will be here overnight. I've been seeing first hand just how talented, dedicated and conscientious every member of staff is. By God, they should all be carried shoulder high through the streets for the job they do. Absolute heroes!
- Dear NHS staff, please do not feel guilty for one moment about taking industrial action. You have been mismanaged, lied to, and used and abused while conditions for you and patients have deteriorated continually. You all deserve medals and our full support.
- I had problems with my eyes yesterday morning. I rang my GP who sent me immediately to an optician who then referred me to the RVH. Upshot is, after 24 hours a hole in my retina was diagnosed and repaired by laser. Cherish the NHS
- Students in Belfast Holylands demanding that Downing Street keep the noise down.
- Everyone should be keeping a wary eye on the P&O situation. If they get away with treating workers like this then any one of us could be next.
- I couldn't attend the funeral of a dear friend. I couldn't attend the funeral of my dear aunt. I have had to stay away from my new grandson. We were told it had to be done. I now feel like I've been punched in the guts.
- Replying to @fessholeI've been known to favour an old spoon out of sheer loyalty. I refuse to use the new interloper spoons that my wife bought .
- Some frigger must have rubbed my eyes with an onion...
- We are all anticipating an announcement. How we respond will speak volumes about our character. Be classy.
