    Guy Fawkes was carrying this lantern on his arrest in the cellars of the Houses of Parliament. He was arrested beneath the House of Lords in 1605 for his part in the Gunpowder Plot. The lantern is now housed at #NationalLottery supported @AshmoleanMuseum. #GuyFawkesNight

    NEW CULTURE RECOVERY FUND FOR HERITAGE: Working in partnership with @HistoricEngland we are distributing £92million from @DCMS. The funds are available to #heritage orgs across England & the deadline is midday Monday 17 August. Applications open 30 July:
