    I’m a woman with a disability who requires intimate personal same-sex care. By you pretending men can become women, you continue to put me & other women at risk from male carers who identify as women to gain access to me.

    Twice I was sent a man with a woman nurse to do my intimate care. I then told them same-sex care only. Tonight, I was sent a man again with a woman. My female relative is not with me to help instead. Even though I have broken skin, I have refused the care. #ProtectSameSexCare

    Wanting to protect your country is called patriotism. The continued cover up of Pakistani Muslim rape gangs. Guests to our country who don’t share our values. Women with ‘refugees welcome here’, throwing our women & girls to the wolves. Disabled patriot 🇬🇧❤️#FarRightThugsUnite

    Nearly 1yr ago I did what I was told ‘for good of society’ & protect me as a ‘vulnerable person’, had the Covid booster. A year on my life is unrecognisable, I’m currently bedbound with little quality of life, in fact I’m in a hospice trying to manage. #iamnotmisinformation

    How would you feel? Disability can happen to everyone and old age happens to us all. You may need intimate personal care, if you don’t care about what I’ve said, come back to me when you are in my situation, it’ll be interesting to know what you think. #NoToSelfID #RepealTheGRA

    Note to disabled people: It’s not hate or anti-trans not to want a man to wash my intimate areas. Unless you’re in my shoes, you’ve no idea. If you are, it’s your choice what sex carer you have but don’t push it on others who want same-sex.

    Most of all compassion. Think of yourself in my shoes when you say: ‘TWAW’, ‘men can become women’ or any other unscientific nonsense that you believe. When you vote for self ID you make it much easier for a predatory male to ID as female and do my intimate same-sex care. 13/

    Stats on abuse of disabled women, inc by carers are horrific, more so than the awful abuse of able-bodied women. Many disabled women have hidden problems, most of my problems are hidden. Some may have been abused/assaulted so why would you put them in a situation of facing a man?

    How dare you. Come and say that to someone like me. I rely 24/7 on same-sex care to do everything intimate for me. I can’t speak and lack physical strength. How would you feel if a bloke turned up and started touching and washing you against your consent?

    I write this, not out of wanting pity but to show people who decide to pass judgement on disabled women wanting same-sex care what it’s actually like for me and many other women. I hope politicians (looking at Scotland especially!) read this and develop some understanding but 12/
