Biopsy results this morning. Been told I've stage 2 cancer of the prostate. Mulling over options, but good to have some resolution, and no sign of spread.

- A PSA result of 9.4 ug/L led me to have a prostate biopsy last December, with cancer diagnosed. Been a rough period, but had brachytherapy in June, and tested again yesterday. PSA level now 1.45 ug/L, and well within the "normal" range. #backontrack

- Been feeling low for past fortnight. Everything a struggle, but means a lot to get a call from a twitter friend just to check in (you know who you are), while all kind comments here appreciated. It IS good to talk.
- Have had the results of my PET scan. No sign of spread to lymph nodes, so that means a go-ahead for brachytherapy, with the procedure the week after the Derby.
- Whoever decided to call a filly by Camelot out of a Rakti mare "Camelot Rakti" should serve a lifetime ban from naming horses.
- Won't attempt to answer them, but thanks for the kind messages re my diagnosis. Prognosis is good, so I go into the New Year with a positive mindset.

- Had brachytherapy procedure yesterday in Guildford to eradicate tumour(s). Went well, and home for dinner, which was nice.
