Today was a beautiful day. To step onto a MLB field was amazing. Been a long time coming. Baseball is back and the world needs it.

Here we go. Workout today then game on tomorrow. Nothing like postseason baseball. Proud to be a White Sox.

I was on this team. Andruw and I came up together. Lived together. Bobby Cox was the best. After that moment Andruw never loafed again and became one of the best center fielders to play the game. Take not coaches.
@MLB Managers used to be the BOSS! On the rare occasion a player dogged it the Managers of the past would make sure everyone in that dugout knew it was unacceptable! That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. We see players not hustling a lot more often today and it drives us

I take him out of the game right then. Then after the game talk to him and have him understand how he disrespected the game, his teammates, his coaches, his parents, etc. It’s the coaches job to create a non selfish culture.

I’m proud of Stella for making Varsity as a 9th grader but I’m more proud of how she plays the game. She plays to win and beat whoever is in front of her. That’s how sports are supposed to be played. 🏐

Thanks Jeff. It goes in one year and out the other. I know what it took to adjust to every arm at the highest level on the mound that given day. There are many ways to teach hitting. It’s all about getting the most out of that boy or girl. Finding out what works best for them.

It’s disturbing that these colleges get kids to commit. Then when they show up go against what they told the kid. If you are a good program then you should know how to develop these kids into the players you need them to be. This needs to be fixed.

Dansby Swanson hustled to beat out an infield hit last night in the 9th. That is way more important than any stat. #heart #hustle

Good hitters are not afraid to hit with 2 strikes. You see too many hitters swinging at the pitchers pitch early in the count or in hitters counts. Hitting with 2 strikes is a mentality. It’s a street fight. You dig deep and battle. 💪 @CoachYourKids
The Dodgers scored five of their six runs last night with two outs AND two strikes. It’s a competitive mindset that drives a physical skill. It’s demoralizing when your opponent constantly struggles to put you away. HITTERS: you can be really good with 2K. How good is up to YOU.
