    There is a rot in malaysian society and I don't know if it can even be fixed. I see people blaming tiktok but be honest, it's the people around you who support rape culture and pedophiles who are allowed to commit the crimes they do bc they use religion as a shield.

    books are expensive in malaysia because of taxes and because the value of the ringgit isn't great. but growing up the one thing my dad would always buy me is books. it didn't matter what books they were, I would waltz into the bookshop and he would quietly hand over his card.
