- New producers exploring electronic music… using footwork as a genre/ label should mean you actually took time and studied the original sound and rudiments. It’s not meant to be a catch all like “electronica” or “bass music”.. I’m seeing a lot of people using in such a way.

00:00- Thinking of the global impact footwork has made over the last 10 years brought me to tears. My generation made hella records and I couldn’t be prouder, our footprint in the sand has been solidified.
- My favorite mission in music as someone from the footwork culture would have to be the commitment to unorthodox patterns. Claps and snares on the 1, switching back n forth on time signatures etc…. It pushes me to wanna make something I’ve never heard everyday.
