If CAB is passed, this is my civil disobedience: I will officially register Muslim. I will then refuse to submit any documents to NRC. I will finally demand the same punishment as any undocumented Muslim- detention centre & withdrawn citizenship. Join this civil disobedience

Pradip Bijalwan, a rare doctor disinterested in money; his only ambition to serve the most needy. For many years, he worked in our homeless street work. Until his end, he was running our covid clinic for the homeless. He died 2 days back for lack of oxygen. Cry my beloved country

This is the India I still love. A Hindu man whose shop is burned down by Muslim mobs removed the Hanuman flag hoisted by rioters on a mosque. And his wife says – he did a good thing! huffingtonpost.in/entry/delhi-ri…

You discover heroes. Yashpal's only son Ankit killed for loving Muslim girl. He still says, 'If I get justice, it’s good. If not, I still don’t have hatred against any community'. Due to people like him, India retains some humanity amidst hate. He represents the best we can be

In my petition seeking FIR against Kapil Mishra & others for hate speech, not only is Justice Murlidhar removed overnight. The new bench admits a petition in the same case seeking FIR against me for hate speech but also sedition, for my call for civil disobedience against CAA
Classic false equivalence in speech between the 'Goli maaro..' folk - which lead to violence - &, @ReallySwara, @harsh_mander, @rjsayema seeking peace, critique State inaction and Hindutva supremacy. Even the critique is being silenced by Hindutvadi petitions by Hindutvadis.

In my years as District Magistrate when India was burning with the Babri Masjid movement, a vicious hate-mongering voice was of Sadhvi Rithambara Today she is picked up for India's third highest civilian honour India is utterly disgraced by the Padma Bhushan for Sadhvi Rithambara

News like this gives one hope in dark times. Real estate Surat businessman recovers from covid, spending lakhs in a private hospital. He thinks of the poor unable to afford this, & converts his office into an 85 bed hospital free for people of every creed

#StandWithUmarKhalid He's a youth a country should be proud of - idealistic, progressive, brave. We spoke together in anti-CAA protests: he spoke always of non-violence & Gandhi. Today he's arrested under draconian UAPA on trumped up charges of conspiracy. Cry out, my country
#StandWithUmarKhalid Umar Khalid's arrest is a travesty. Every day he spends behind bars is a day too many. Another chapter added to one of the most vindictive investigations by @DelhiPolice

The cruelty of the state to our best is shaming. I've seen Sudha in my years in Chhattisgarh, living simply, fighting for justice for the working poor. She should be our hero, role model for our children. Instead she's locked in jail, not even allowed to speak with her daughter

Desperate calls from parts of Delhi of attacks on Muslim homes, shops, localities. @narendramodi @AmitShah @LtGovDelhi @ArvindKejriwal Pl remember if you fail to protect lives today, you will be responsible for a communal massacre, a repeat of 1984. History will not forgive you

Farmers from Punjab came to Shaheen Bagh to establish a langar in solidarity with their sisters protesting CAA/NRC. Now Muslim youth from Malerkotla serve food in solidarity with protesting farmers of Punjab. With these bonds of love that bind us, India is safe @karwanemohabbat

Spent a harrowing day in AMU on 17th. The police violence there surpasses Jamia, worse than what I have seen in any campus. Injuries and torture of students. 13k students forced to leave campus overnight. University administration has shamefully abandoned the students in its care

Akshay Yadav opened up not just his garage but also his heart for his Muslim brothers. His gesture represents what is finest in our civilizational traditions. Fight hate with love, how many of us will learn from his example.
#Namaz being offered at Akshay Yadav’s open garage in the automobile market in Sector 12, #Gurugram This is a small start, may it lead to a show of solidarity between people that defeats forces of hate.
