- I saw an exchange at a popular dining chain last night: Young waitress approaches coughing cook and asks him if he's rolling with the 'vid, and the cook just shrugs. Server laughs and says ya me too. Methinks we are past the point of people giving AF, especially young folks.
- From my living room workstation I can see the sidewalk and strollers can see me (our respective views below); and I often wonder what their stories are, as I can tell they look at me with my dog on my computer and wonder the same.
- Anecdote: I recall talking politics with my late father many years ago, and he said there's really not that much difference between Republicans and Democrats and they usually meet in the middle anyway, so there's no need to fuss about it. I wonder what he would say today?
- Lordy I love these editors. 2022 will be such a fascinating year I suspect in beverages. I'm glad I have this crack team at my side. #beernetradio
- Today was a top-five revenue day in our company's history thanks to our amazing clients and our brilliant staff. Also, thanks cardi b for lending a hand.
- I bought a new (very old) house to combine our offices (which are now mostly virtual anyway), video and podcast studio, and home. It's an old barn of a house, Ol' Yeller, and we'll be moving in next week.
- If you are a beer distributor and haven't listened to this podcast, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Great pod on the future of beer and bev distribution with Columbia's Chris Steffanci.
- Watching the mob in DC. It’s so sad how angry everybody is. Not just in politics, (I got aggressively honked at today for waiting a nano-second when the light turned green), or on twitter about how to properly deliver a keg. Angry elves. South Pole elves, everywhere.
- The @nelkboys posted a benign interview with donald trump. It got 5 mil views in 24 hrs. And then YT deleted it, saying it had "misinformation". Listen, whether you are a trump fan or not, that is shocking to me and should be concerning to everybody.
- I paid $6k for the semester's tuition for my son at UT Austin. Then they declared all classes but one are online. That's fine, but quit trying to catfish me. UT is a rich school. Maybe tighten your belts like the rest of us.
- Replying to @harry_schuh...If you are older, immune-compromised, overweight, et al, I would strongly suggest staying inside and using precautions, because from where I sit, almost everybody either has it or is spreading it or both.
