Did an interview with Boris Johnson in Cheadle this morning. The @seashelltrust previously signed a letter saying children's services are at 'breaking point' - so I asked about that. Not sure we really got anywhere to be honest, but here it is @GranadaReports:

Thanks for all the comments - my Twitter following has more than doubled and the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. But most importantly, we've hopefully done a tiny bit to put children's social care somewhere on the agenda. It's rare to have the opportunity to do that.

Watch my full interview with @BorisJohnson here: - What is the exit strategy for lifting local restrictions? - Should people follow advice or just stick to the law? @GranadaReports

The infection rate in the Prime Minister's constituency is 47.6 and rising. Only one council in Greater Manchester had a higher rate than that when restrictions were first introduced, the average was 23.9. So is it one rule for the North West and another for him? @GranadaReports

The community response that had @MarcusRashford ‘on the verge of tears’ - his mural in Withington is being repainted this morning, messages of support remain where the graffiti is gone @itvnews

'There's nothing you can do as an MEP' - I asked Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) what he wants to achieve if he's elected to represent the North West in the European Parliament @GranadaReports:

Remember that time less than two weeks ago when there was a huge row in Greater Manchester over 80% furlough? Yes, I do too.

To all those who say we should interrupt less, we have 4 minutes 30 seconds to get as many answers on behalf of our viewers as possible. Politicians (of all colours) often have a habit of running down the clock. That's why we try to stick to the question.

This is the clip where I ask Boris Johnson about the situation in Oldham. Govt guidance says only 20 people at a funeral (not 30) and they previously issued a press release about stricter rules for meeting up outside. But now @MattHancock says the rules are the same across GM.

Government Minister David Lidington came to central Manchester, to discuss the Northern Powerhouse and reducing carbon emissions. Turns out he flew from London in a helicopter. Why? 'In order to get to places we would not be able to get to otherwise' @GranadaReports

Two stories that really annoy people in the north (and make it difficult for the Government to claim it is ‘levelling up’ / paying attention to the north). Exhibit A:
Anger and frustration as London schools get mass Covid testing despite months of disruption in the north @JenWilliamsMEN and Emma @familymanc Gill report manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-m…

That feeling when @KayBurley defends you 🙂
Yes it is. Hannah did a great job. Jealousy is such an ugly quality, especially in a fellow journalist.

Conservative candidate for St Helens South and Whiston, Richard Short, is one of three people being investigated by the party over allegations of anti-Semitism - relating to a tweet he posted in 2013. The Labour Party has called for all three to be suspended. @GranadaReports
