I’ve been called a lot of things by folks who hated my Buddie article but “straight” is by far the most offensive 😤
(This is a joke; please stop calling me a bitch lol)

- This is how I feel watching this silly, goofy caricature of a man who was introduced as an openly racist, misogynistic homophobe. Why isn’t that being addressed? See also: Tommy KinardHen Begins is on. And watching that Gerrard in comparison to the one we're seeing now is...something!
- Jokes aside, it’s okay to dislike an article or disagree about a show. But if you think the way to express that is to call a queer woman things like “straight” and “bitch,” it might be time to examine your homophobia and misogyny. Take a breath and drink some water.
- Why 9-1-1 Season 8 is the Perfect Time to Give Us Buddie tvfanatic.com/why-9-1-1-seas… (By @haleytogo)
- 911 rewatch hot take Chimney didn’t owe his father forgiveness and he shouldn’t have been pressured by Albert or anyone else. Guilting him into letting his dad have a relationship with Jee-Yun was unfair. Kids (even once they’re grown) don’t owe their parents anything
- Dropping this back on the timeline for no reason at all! I just like it and I’m proud of it
- One more thing on this - I just want to send genuine love and appreciation to everyone who has reached out via DMs, comments, defended me against personal attacks, etc. I’ve tried to respond or like everything but if I missed you, know that I saw it and am thankful!
- Legally I have to say I meant work partners, but between me and twitter, I meant they are in love 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽if i was someone who hasnt seen the show and i read this with no other context i would think they mean the word partner as boyfriend and im so serious
- I can’t tell you how often I think about how Eddie says “seriously, Buuuuck” in this scenebuddie scene of all time tbh
00:00 - I’m a bisexual neurodivergent person who really relates to Buck and his late-coming out, his sensitivity to rejection, & his fear that he’s simultaneously not enough and too much for anyone to love. It bums me out to see people criticizing what is a really relatable bi experience
- This is biphobic as hell. Also, plenty of people keep photos? Have you never seen a prom photo of your parent with their high school sweetheart? Not everyone wants to get rid of every reminder of their past, especially if a relationship was as transformative as this was for Buck
- Replying to @venusryland and @emobuckleyThey’re at it but I’m being overwhelmed with love so I’m ignoring it 🥰🫶🏻
- Finding out that Ryan and Oliver have read 911 fanfiction is deeply embarrassing to me personally and I don’t even write fanfiction I’ve just seen what yall are doing to those boys on ao3 and it’s a lawless place 😭
