- Congrats to Mr. Prime Minster on wining The Nobel Peace Prize. It is a deserved pat in the back for his ambitious vision & achievements. The recognition will give an impetus to the project to create an inclusive, accountable & effective #Ethiopia|n state, & an ever closer Horn.
- Today was more about nation building, unity, shared purpose & common destiny than tree planting and the environment. #Ethiopia #GreenLegacy @PMEthiopia
- Negaso was both man of the people & a statesman. He was honest, humble & kind. He had integrity. Was a lefty & an unapologetic federalist. He was ready to share & learn until the end. This is a life well lived & a life to celebrate. Thank you & Good bye Mr President! #Ethiopia
- The Ethiopian Foreign Relations Strategic Studies Institute (EFRSSI) co-organized a successful conference on political reform & transition. We were graced with & enlightened by the presence of Sahlework Zewdie,President of #Ethiopia & former President of #SouthAfrica Thabo Mbeki.
- Overwhelmed with joy to finally meet Dr Martha Kuwee Kumsa, a revo, a feminist, a political prisoner, a writer & an academic. She is grace, charm, humility, wisdom, courage and determination rhyming at their best in one person. #Gotittii
- Lots of Love and Respect to my Emaye Tsehay (Hadiya) Rashid on Mother’s Day. As a solo parent she had to play mom and dad roles, and did both with grace. She is independent, strong, stylish, fun, kind and generous. Long may you live.
- The apolitical office of the President can be source of stability, continuity & trust as we brace for a bumpy transition to a democratic, just & freer #Ethiopia. Our new President Amb SahleWork has what it takes to oversee this project, & to usher the state to the Third Republic.
