    Cape Fear Proud Boys boldly and valiantly descended on STORYTIME at the local public library in #WilmingtonNC to intimidate the crowd... which was all CHILDREN under the age of SEVEN. Why? Because the theme of storyline was "Pride" and "celebrating all families." Who's POYB now?

    What is the role of police if its not preventing grown masked men who belong to a hate group that is being tried RIGHT NOW for sedition and attempting to, you know, overthrow the government, from entering a children's storytime? FFS they didn't even bring any kids.

    It's predictable: If you post about Appalachian miners being fucked over by their bosses, folks comment "They shouldn't have voted for Trump" as if this hasn't been happening for 130 years & as if either political party has ever helped the region/not treated it like a colony. (1)

    Today in #GRAHAMNC I went to a permitted March to the Polls lead by Rev Drumwright and others. Starting at a Black AME church, Rev Drumwright started the march by asking folks what our intentions were. TO VOTE the crowd chanted. Its the last day of Early Voting in #NC.

    As in many places, the Cape Fear Proud Boys have been a constant presence at school board meetings, etc, over the last year. They arent rogue or lone wolves or rebels, but part of a coordinated grasstops campaign that peddles manufactured outrage to manipulate local folks.

    Proud Boys did this in CA too & are being investigated re: hate crimes Something folks should know abt PBs is they arent backwards bubbas as many are suggesting, they are organized, sophisticated, & have money & power backing them & their actions.

    Police arrested Rev Drumwright and 19 others. They arrested Dreama Caldwell's campaign manager-- Dreama is running for County Commissioner and if elected, she will be the first Black woman ever to serve in Alamance. As a reminder, we were marching to the goddamn polls. That's it.

    NC Proud Boys showed up this weekend to do nothing at a drag show, but here's what's new: The incorporation of Christian and crusades symbols into their "brand." Odd for a "drinking club." Neither McInnes or Tarrio struck me as particularly prayerful. (1/2)

    A trans teen was murdered last week in Union County, NC, where antidrag protests have been repeatedly held all year. The school board is considering passing an anti-trans bathroom bill this Thursday. Hate speech, hate policy, & violence are connected.
    2nd suspect now charged with murder after SC teen found dead in Union Co.

    He was wearing his halloween costume. I saw a little girl, maybe four years old, dressed as a princess sobbing and rubbing her eyes as we tried to make our way up the sidewalk. We were running so I didnt catch anything on film. I have no idea where the spray was even coming from.
