- Was at a bar alone yesterday when the bartender said, “Hey, check out this text from my sister!” He showed me his phone and it said, “Do not, under any circumstances, get into a conversation with the guy sitting on your right.” Men, if you are in a position to do this, DO THIS.
- I went on a date with a guy last summer who was condescending about the Watergate history I was reading at the time. “I only read primary sources,” he said. Anyway that book was just longlisted for a Pulitzer and that guy was a jerk.
- Woke up to a lot of folks who don’t realize that being halfway to an EGOT is very far from an EGOT.
