- Many years ago I complained to my grandma about how small my room was at the time. She told me to focus on the end goal as our graves will be much smaller & how my reward would be greater if I was grateful. Today we performed ghusul, shrouded her, & lowered her into her grave-
- When I performed umrah, I made a certain du’ā at the Kaaba. Others told me that it was near impossible to achieve this but I didn’t care. I made sincere du’ā and left it to Allah SWT. I had faith in Him. 8 months later and my dua’s were accepted and answered, alhamdulillah
- They weren’t kidding when they said you leave a piece of your heart in Makkah and Madinah. You don’t realise what you’re missing out on until you experience this beautiful place for the first time. From there on, your soul yearns to go back. Yearns to go homeSunrise in Makkah ❤️🕋
00:00 - if you don’t hear from someone in a while and the first thought is to centre yourself & assume that they’re not making an effort with you, then you need to introspect and pinpoint where that egocentrism has stem from. they could be going through hell and back offline
- I get shivers whenever I remember we will die the way we lived. It really does make you think about your lifestyle and if you’re comfortable dying in your current state. A good reality check, always
- I promise you, no one is doing this. People take a quick picture or video and then put their phones away. It’s just for memories and you can see that. Instead of spending their time doing ibadah they waste it just so they can show off to others, throwing away good deeds.
- I wholeheartedly believe that you need to experience the worst year of your life before you experience the best years of your life. If you’re been through it, it only gets better from here. what can you possibly lose if you’ve already experienced the pits of hell in this world?
- the same woman who joked and sneered about a divorcee on live is now divorced herself. they weren’t kidding when they said you will become the very thing that you mocked at least once before you pass away, subhanallah
- The more you talk to people, the more you realise that life is v hard for some more than others. Everyone’s situation is different and that’s how life is. You should say alhamdulillah for your own circumstances and keep it moving bc comments like this is unproductive
- For many years, I used to ask myself why good things happen to bad people, subhanallah. But tbh, Allah is Ar-Razzaq, the All-provider. He will provide for all, regardless of their circumstances, faith, power etc. When a person suffers & sometimes receives less worldly benefits-
- hate to admit it but waking up early really is the secret to success 😭
- I’ve met people whose dua’s were accepted 6-7 years, sometimes even two decades later. I remember someone telling me that they wouldn’t mind experiencing their hardships again so they can appreciate the blissful outcome again. a reminder to myself that Allah is always listening
