- A group of Democratic lawmakers are calling for Gov. Kemp to initiate a process to remove three Republicans on the Georgia State Election Board. The 3 members passed rules that could disrupt the certification of election results this fall.
- News: VP Harris and Gov. Walz will launch a campaign bus tour through South Georgia next week. In 2022, I reported on how outreach to rural Black voters outside Metro Atlanta has been key to Democrat's advances in Georgia.
- Several polling places in Fulton County received threats and had to be temporarily closed. County election officials are seeking a court order on keep those sites open a little later.

- If you're a Cobb County voter who received your absentee/mail ballot late, to be safe, at this point you'll want to do everything you can to deliver your ballot in-person to the election office by 7 p.m. Tuesday. Or you can cancel an unreturned absentee ballot/vote in-person.The Supreme Court of Georgia orders Cobb County mail ballots that are returned late must be segregated and secured until further order of the Court, and requires Cobb County to take action to notify the affected voters of the deadline.
