- Cherokee beats Norcross 63-60 and will play for the Class 7A state championship. It marks the first Cherokee County boys team to make the championship since Tony Ingle's Warriors in 1982. A boys team has not won the title since Canton in the 50s.
- Cherokee girls knock off West Forsyth 90-67 at home. Toni Warren poured in 41 points, breaking the school’s single-game scoring record. “I was missing shots I should have made in that last game,” she said. “I focused more on my feel for the ball, and the shots started falling.”
