- very much same i was *suuuuuper* anti-biden when he got elected largely bc my take was that he’d run on “go back to the status quo” when i wanted a president whose goal was “pass a lot of progressive policy” and then he passed the most pro-environment bill everIt really was the IRA that turned me around on Biden. I spent so much time yelling at him for not getting it done and then... he got it done. Not cleanly, not quite how I would have liked, but it GOT PASSED. I had to admit I was wrong and they'd pulled it off. It earned respect.
