Their Royal Highnesses then presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service – to members of Gordonstoun’s Fire Service. We are the only school in the UK where students are volunteer firefighters & attend incidents in the community as part of @fire_scot
It was wonderful to welcome Their Royal Highnesses The Earl & Countess of Forfar & Wessex at Gordonstoun today, where 125 Moray schoolchildren were presented with the Moray Badge Platinum Jubilee, an award established for one year to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee & 1/2
Huge congratulations to OG HRH Prince Edward on receiving the title of Duke of Edinburgh, pictured here with a participant of the Moray Badge relaunched during the Queen’s Platinum Jubillee Year, originated at #Gordonstoun & was the precursor to the @DofE awards!
The entire Gordonstoun community sends its heartfelt well-wishes to the Gordonstoun Warden, HRH The Princess Royal, who was injured whilst walking on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday.
Your Royal Highness, we hope that you have a swift and full recovery.

We join the nation - and the world - in wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very happy 96th birthday! It has been a privilege to enjoy her support of the school, and we are proud that she is a member of the parent - and grandparent - body at Gordonstoun. 🙏
School flag to half mast with a lone piper - as a mark of respect for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, former pupil whose support of Gordonstoun was lifelong and gratefully received.
It is a huge honour for #Gordonstoun & our pipers, Hamish, Patrick & Elspeth, to be invited to play at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh when the Scottish Crown Jewels are presented to the King on Wednesday 5 July. 1/2

As we have the honour of welcoming our school Warden, Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal to Gordonstoun today, it is with particular pride that our Pipe Major, Scott Oliphant carried the Duke Of Edinburgh’s Coat Of Arms when the school Pipe Band played for her. 1/2
It is with great sadness that we learnt today of the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. The Gordonstoun community joins together in conveying sincerest condolences to HM the Queen and all of the Royal Family at this very sad time.
Thank you so much to Colin Stuart, son of Okill, seen here with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at Balmoral, for sharing this photo. Okill & His Royal Highness were at Gordonstoun together & remained lifelong friends. Another byproduct of a Gordonstoun education - enduring friendship..
Good luck to Hamish, Elspeth and Patrick who will be piping our King into St Giles' cathedral later today as he receives the Scottish Crown Jewels! The whole school community is behind you 🤩🌟
