- GYPD responded to a traffic hazard call re: a runaway calf. Ofrs chased it approx 4mi before it jumped into the Canal near Van Buren/303. Corporal McFadden, grabbed & held it (w/o going swimming himself)preventing the calf from drowning. The calf was safely pulled out. #gypdcares
- The Goodyear Police Department is saddened by line of duty death of El Mirage Police Department’s only K9 Officer, Koki. He was killed last night protecting officers and the community. Rest in Peace K9 Koki, thank you for your service.
- A Goodwill manager @ the Sarival & Yuma location reported finding what appeared to be a human skull in a donation box. GYPD transported it to the OME for investigation. Their initial findings confirm it is human & appears to be historic. It doesn’t appear to be linked to a crime.

- We stand with our brothers & sisters of @PhoenixPolice. Five police officers were shot early this morning while protecting the community. We are praying for their full recovery & ask for healing prayers for them, as well as prayers of protection for law enforcement everywhere.
