Talked to my kids tonight and told them that there are no permenant problems in life. All pain is temporary, even if it seems overwhelming. No matter how bad something may seem, there is always a solution. I hope any kids I ever coached know we can talk anytime they need to.

North Platte is a proud community that should be proud of their kids. They played hard. They made a few mistakes that made it look worse than it was. Ton of respect for North Platte and their community.

North Platte traveled four hours with 28 players on their roster to play Millard South. They lost 84-0 nothing. But what they didn’t do? They didn’t bow out, take the easy way out, tuck their tail and forfeit. Good on the Bulldogs.

Nine years ago we sat in a room and committed to a multiyear project to build a special group. A lot of time, effort, and sacrifice went into that project from so many kids, parents and coaches. We added a bunch of amazing families along the way. Mission Accompished. ✅

Addie got to meet the top softball player in the country @jordybahl after a hitting lesson this year. It’s amazing how many great women athletes come from Omaha and every one of them seem to take time to pay it forward to younger girls. She was on cloud 9 the rest of the night.

Battle for Rocky Top National Champs. These kids put in hours and hours of work. Challenged themselves against teams from 15 states over 6 years going 90-11. Best team in Nebraska and now one of the best in the country. Special group of kids and families #TPW @soldier_sports
