    Tesla buys Bitcoin. El Salvador adopts Bitcoin. Twitter adds Bitcoin. Central banks attack Bitcoin. 200M users, growing faster than the internet. And yet, most people in finance and economics are totally oblivious to what is happening. What a world! 🌎

    The economic growth is undeniable — but if you visit and don’t do tours of the prison camps in Xinjiang, the colonization of Tibet, the state-of-the-art AI-powered surveillance apparatus, or conquered Hong Kong, then you don’t get the full picture.

    So many are just completely missing the historical importance of what is happening in El Salvador. The govt could have pushed a surveillance and control coin, a civil liberties-stripping CBDC, a China project... No! They went with Bitcoin. Freedom money. Just remarkable.
