Chrome + #Twitch users: you should be set! You may need to close and reopen your browser in order for AdBlock to update to the latest version. As a reminder, this will likely cause ads to get through the stream, but should stop the purple screen from interrupting you constantly.

We've submitted a release with a fix (4.29.2) for Chrome & Firefox (Edge coming soon). The release needs to go through a review process by each respective webstore (Chrome/Mozilla/Microsoft) before it gets rolled out to users, but we're hoping it gets rolled out very quickly! 🤞

.@firefox is hard at work on a fix for the issue with extensions. In the meantime, be careful out there folks. A video ad could spring out of nowhere and catch you by surprise.

Good news! Our engineers are fast-tracking a release to resolve this ASAP. This means you may see some #Twitch ads getting through once the release goes out, but you should be able to access Twitch streams without the purple screen of death. Stay tuned for another update soon!

Hi folks! If you're suddenly seeing ads on YouTube, don't panic. We've shared this information with the awesome filter list maintainers and are investigating as much as we can from our end as well.

True! We encourage whitelisting YTers you love, & we're the only ad blocker that has this built-in. But it's all about user choice for us.
