Wow! Last night I had the honour of being elected as MLA for Kelowna Mission.
This was a complicated and messy election, but ultimately one that made history as the @Conservative_BC emerged as the new vehicle for BC's common sense coalition.
We won big in my riding through hard

- Eby and the NDP must be joking. The @BCLegislature will sit for just 67 days in 2025. We have serious issues to deal with in #bcpoli - cost of living crisis; stagnant economy; collapsing healthcare system; disorder and death on our streets. This is not a serious government.
- Everyday British Columbians are tightening their belts, and Eby is addressing cost of living. But only for his caucus. They'll make ~$1.9M in additional annual pay. Typical NDP: failure gets rewarded, everyone gets a participation ribbon, and the taxpayer gets hosed. #bcpoliBC’s new cabinet reflects our province’s diversity, experience and talent. This team is focused on what matters to you: lowering costs, strengthening healthcare, building new homes and creating good jobs in safe communities. Learn more: news.gov.bc.ca/31781
- This is a dishonest statement from a guy who personally drove up the cost of the last pipeline by BILLIONS of dollars with his obstructionism. #bcpoliLet’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing: BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors. AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company. That’s not fair & fairness is a Canadian value.
00:00 - Working this weekend? 👷🏾👮👨🌾👩💻🧑🚒👩🏽🍳🥷🏻🎅🏻 The NDP aren’t. 🤷♂️ David Eby and his caucus showed up to work for just long enough to give themselves a $1.9M pay bump, then bugged off until February. 🏝️ Your hard work is paying for a government that’s hardly working. #bcpoliNEW - The BC Government is backing away from a suggested fall sitting. The expectation is NDP MLA Raj Chouhan will continue to serve as Speaker. The BC Legislature will return in February with a Speech from the Throne. #bcpoli
- David Eby is isolated, authoritarian, and out of touch. He’s not listening, he’s not a team player, and he’s not a leader. The only question is what comes first: an election or a leadership collapse and a new unelected NDP premier. British Columbians deserve better.David Eby ignores calls to decentralize power out of premier's office vancouversun.com/opinion/column…
- The NDP is running BC into the ground. It’s time to stop the downward spiral, get spending under control, and start growing the economy. If they won’t, we will. #bcpoliB.C.'s latest fiscal update forecasts an $8.9 billion deficit for 2024, the province's largest ever and something the Business Council of B.C. says is unsustainable. - Election 2024 is over. We fell short of our hopes, but the @Conservative_BC team has transformed #bcpoli. Now we get back to work. We knock doors. We build up our team. We provide strong and focused opposition. We show that we are a government in waiting. And then we win.
- It's time for common sense change. Let's get things done again in BC. Let's make things better for people and families. Let's go! On October 19th, vote @Conservative_BC. #bcpoli
00:00 - David Eby has crossed the proverbial Rubicon. History will remember this as the beginning of the end of a mediocre premier. #bcpoli.@Dave_Eby admits new bill, that gives cabinet sweeping emergency powers that bypass the legislature for 2 years, gives him unique and unusual authority with the justification he has to respond to Donald Trump in real time.
- Eby’s game plan is obvious. 💣 Pick real and imaginary trade fights to create an external enemy 🤷 Blame tariffs and trade for his own economic mismanagement 👄 Pay lip service to business and hope they have the memories of goldfish The @Conservative_BC won’t let him. #bcpoliNDP pollsters may see Trump as a good political enemy for Eby, but thousands upon thousands of BC jobs depend on US trade. I’m asking David Eby to stop playing politics by ramping up the unnecessary trade war with Trump. Instead, Eby should secure BC’s borders to stop the flow
00:00 - Today, I asked my first question in the @BCLegislature. I asked @Dave_Eby about his changing principals and broken promises. Eby promised voters a $1000 Grocery Rebate when BC already faced a staggering $9.4B deficit of his own making. It seems he didn't mean it. #bcpoli
00:00 - It seems David Eby was being loose with the truth when he threw out his Hail Mary pass to buy off voters with $1000 of their own money. What other promises does he have no intent of keeping? This government is making it up as they go. The people are paying the price. #bcpoliDavid Eby continues to walk back timing of his promised 'immediate' relief vancouversun.com/opinion/column…
