NEWS: GOP Rep. Will Hurd told me today that he now doesn't know whether he'll vote for Trump this fall. When asked about delaying the election, he said: "We are not an authoritarian government." And on whether the country is doing a good job combatting COVID, he said: "No."

Clare is what they call an "extreme talent." Her writing is must-read, her podcast analysis is witty & empathetic, & she's one of the greatest friends you cld hope to have. At a 538 live show, there's no applause like a Clare Malone applause. Editors, you hit the jackpot today.

Sadly, 538 is shutting down and that goes for my role too. It’s been a privilege making the politics podcast for the past nine years, so a really big thank you to everyone who tuned in! There are a bunch of talented journalists newly on the market as of today -- my colleagues.

Between Josh Shapiro and AOC, 2028 is gonna be an Obama-off.
Do not let them trick you into thinking we are enemies. Do not let them trick you into thinking that we can be separated into rural and urban, Black and white and Latino. We are one.

The fact that no candidate walked out to Gloria Estefan's "Get On Your Feet" shows an utter lack of appreciation for Parks and Rec among the Democratic primary field.

Based on today’s reporting, statements from lawmakers in both parties and comments from law enforcement, it really doesn’t seem like the public fully knows what happened inside the capitol on January 6th.

When I came out, I was the first/only person in my fraternity to do so. Lots of others have in the years since. Coming out isn’t just about being yourself, it’s also about serving others. Cheers to coming out! #NationalComingOutDay
