- This is both profoundly true and deeply devastating. Oh mannnπ©
- The fact that the animators were so bored that they literally animated a video of Korra dancing and BODYROLLING from way back. Iβm losing it at the ending π. If Korra moves like that solo, just imagine how sheβd dance with Asami!
00:00 - She? Itβs honestly unbelievable. We all saw what happened when Unalaq forcefully ripped Raava out of Korra and destroyed her, breaking the connection. And somehow, Korra haters twist that into being her fault. Blaming Korra for something a grown man did to violate her is insane.Replying to @therealtaureann @aquarobinn and @DiscussingFilmWell, she's literally alone, as she severed all the previous Avatars from the link.
- Asamiβs full letter to Korraβ¦ Iβm actually in tears right now. This is everything.
- Folks need to know TLOK was at a disadvantage from the very beginning.βand continued to struggle the entire time cause constant interference from Nickelodeon, who had issue with having a dark-skinned female lead. If people knew how mishandled and rushed TLOK was behind the scenes
- Iβm really glad the creators made Pavi a female Avatar. Can you imagine the backlash Korra wouldβve faced If the new Avatar had fair skin and was a male. The hate she already gets is wild, but that wouldβve made it ten times worse. Especially with these dudebros avatar fan.
- Letβs take a moment to appreciate how Asami spent three long years waiting for Korra not even knowing if she'd ever return and still chose to build a statue in her honor for someone she had feelings for, without even knowing if those feelings were mutual. Love, in its truest formdefine βloveβ
- Every day, I think about how much better The Legend of Korra couldβve been if it were made in todayβs era. Korra wouldnβt have been rushed or mistreated as a character, and Korrasami mightβve gotten the proper queer development it deserved.
- Never forget Korrasami paved the way for sapphic representation in TV animation. Oh, what it couldβve been for them. Sadly, Mike and Bryan are doing a poor job handling their LGBTQ+ characters when it comes to meaningful representation.
- Korra actually said all of that in the show word for word.π
