00:00 - Ed Piskor posted this image some time ago. I have no clue what the context of this panel is, but the creator of Akira referencing Fritz the Cat is really enthralling. I want to see Otomo adapt Crumb for anime now.
- Projects I Wish Had Happened: Here's a few presentation art pieces done by Jim Smith and Vincent Waller for a project whose working title was ON THE ROAD WITH FRITZ THE CAT. It was an idea Ralph Bakshi kicked around at Spumco during the making of FIRE DOGS 2.

- Some old Laundry childhood lore: when I was a kid, I had a crush on Famous era Olive Oyl and I thought tall Betty Boop was a fox.
- CONTROVERSIAL MOVIE NERD OPINION: Some remakes surpass the original and blow it out of the toilet. SHREK RETOLD exemplifies this.
- American animation was this close, THIS CLOSE to being cool again, and we blew it. Ralph Man needed our dollars, but we failed him. Historically speaking, it should bring great shame to our nation.
- The second episode of Spicy City, "Mano's Hands" is the best looking. Doug Compton's character art is superb. It's one of the 2 out of 6 episodes that were directed by Ralph himself.
- I love the opening credits to Grease. It was created by John David Wilson, who made animations for Sonny & Cher's show and directed a feature film, Shinbone Alley...
