- Am devastated to announce that my dear friend & former guitarist Danny Kustow died at Bath Royal United Hospital on Monday. He'd been in a coma on life support all weekend with double pneumonia and a liver infection. I'm making a formal announcement on @BBC6Music around 1.20pm

- Am taking some leave from @BBC6Music to have a routine minor operation today followed by a couple of weeks’ rest and recreation. Will still be looking in here from time to time and return to the 6 Music airwaves on Sat 28 Sept when my guests will be the mighty @squidbanduk.
