Almost 800 people died today in Italy from #Covid_19 and we have a mix of fools, idiots, imbeciles, selfish gits and stubborn clampets out socialising tonight. The citizens of Ireland north, south, east and west are now begging you to wise up.

- Sad listening to Sir Alex Ferguson @Channel4 telling how the sectarian attitude of @RangersFC his boyhood hero club targeted him because he was married to a Catholic. He regrets not telling a senior staff member to F off! In the end they dumped him because of who he loved. #awful
- Later today I'll arrive @utv for the last time after 34 years working with the most wonderfully talented and friendly people. It's a special day for me and it's been a joy the whole way through. I'd love you to join me later when I'll thank you for tuning in down the years. 👍❤️

- Fab Fr Ted moment here in Derry. We're surrounded by people in fancy dress and one of our crew asked a woman why she decided to come dressed as a nun. Her polite answer was " because I am a nun" 🙈🙏
- Just out of a small shop with milk. Shopkeeper no mask, no partition. The other customer no mask and like a fool no effort to socially distance. And we ask why is the NHS collapsing? If you can't wear a mask please stay further back. It's better for you and everyone else.
- Coming up to 4500 dead in the UK and some people think it’s still ok to sunbathe, BBQ and party in public places. You are thoughtless,heartless, clueless and most importantly useless in the fight against #coronavirus You are part of the problem!
- A couple of Saturdays ago I was at our house and remarking on how little traffic there was. Today it’s not an exaggeration to say it’s almost constant traffic. We are possibly beginning to make moves that will cost lives and further ignite the fire of #Covid_19. PLEASE say home.

- Stayed in my mum's last night. Someone has parked across her driveway. Have to order a taxi for 50 mile trip to work and 50 back to collect my own car later. Hard to believe what people will do. By the way the car does not belong to neighbours.
- Thoughts across Ireland are with the people of Creeslough tonight. Any of us who were quite regular customers on our visits will recall the welcome and smiles in the store. God bless the families and the community 🙏 in North Donegal.
