Woke up with a new arrest warrant & a HKD1m bounty. Grateful for those who reached out & offered support to me & fellow #Hongkongers who are wanted by the govt. As I process this, let me reiterate that my advocacy for democracy & freedom has not and will not stop. #FreeHK ✊🏼

A terrific little boy led the crowd to sing "Do You Hear The People Sing" during the protest initiated by workers from the aviation industry in Hong Kong. #PrayForHongkong #antiELAB #DoYouHearThePeopleSing

#Thailand, we are not there with you, but we feel you deeply. It is the least for me to say, we are in this together. We stand with you just like what you did when we needed a friend. #StandWithThailand #MilkTeaAlliance #หยุดคุกคามประชาชน #ขีดเส้นตายไล่เผด็จการ

#day70 of the 12 HK activists' disappearance. They r provided no right to due process nor access to medication. The intl community has to hold China accountable for its human rights assaults & pressure for their release. We can't afford to see the 13th victim. #save12hkyouths

The bounty issued on me is just one of the many accounts of egregious human rights abuses conducted by China on Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hong Kongers, & Chinese dissidents both inside China & abroad. The world needs to know wt the CCP is doing to violate human rights across the globe.

The 91-year-old Cardinal Zen attended #JimmyLai’s trial today. What a symbol of true strength and fearlessness in the face of oppression. #FreeJimmyLai

This is not #HongKong. It is #Bangkok. Yet everything looks so familiar- the gears, the crowd's tactics and the blue cannon... #StandWithThailand #MilkTeaAlliance
    Situation is escalating now -

This is probably one of the most iconic scenes of #QueenElizabeth's visit to #HongKong in 1975. The space between authority & grassroots almost dissolved in that one frame, which will unlikely to happen in HK with the current admin. Her legend will remain in every hker's heart.

This is the first time I travel abroad using this refugee travel doc since I was granted asylum in the US. I've always said that I am just lucky in this process while thousands of #Hongkongers & #Uyghurs struggle to see progress on their asylum applications . 🧵US lifeboat policy

Early this week I testified as a federal witness in a Boston court, facing Liang Li-tang—an alleged PRC agent who spied on me & overseas Chinese associations. His indictment revealed how the CCP extends its repression abroad. I trust the US justice system to hold him accountable.

Former HK journalist and current district councilor Pak-kin Leung said he received a blade in a letter that reads "stay silent on 831 (the Aug 31 terrorist incident) to keep your family safe." He once ducumented the 831 incident for Rice Post where he worked for as a reporter.
