Can people relax with Nwaneri? Reminder that he’s a 17 year old kid who’s already getting minutes for a premier league contender. When Saka was 19 he was watching Nicolas Pepe and Maitland-Niles start ahead of him in an FA Cup final. Chill the fack out lads
I knew Mikel had a unique pull after convincing Rice to pick Arsenal over Pep and City but persuading Italians to leave Serie A for England? He’s just showing off now…
🚨🔴⚪️ Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal, here we go! Bologna and Arsenal have started to exchange documents right now.
All sorted also between Bologna and Basel.
Calafiori will sign five year deal (no option) for €4m/season net.
Medical in the US, deal done and story confirmed.
It’s not only about this game, it’s about the mentality of your manager (who I’m a fan of)
Merino starting tells you straight away about the mindset.
You didn’t create one chance against a team who have been exposed by three teams with less ability than yours.
I’m sorry but posting this and finding yourself writing an article blaming absentees and refereeing decisions after then losing to Arsenal is hilarious
Everything that could go against Liverpool did go against Liverpool in defeat to Arsenal. It really wasn't as bad as people are making out though. anfieldwatch.co.uk/why-liverpools…
Two observations:
In an era full of forced and cringe moments, I love how this has a genuine and iconic feel to it.
Mikel’s idea to remove the tunnel was so good that I can’t believe nobody thought to do it sooner.
City drop 60m on a guy in January to stabilise the midfield for a few weeks before deeming him dispensable and you’ll have people come out and say Arteta has no excuses for not winning the league with a straight face. The expectation and pressure should always be on City.
