- The Fox affiliate in Miami reports that UM's contract with Carson Beck is a one year, $4 M deal. As perspective, former second round pick Will Levis made $950,000 base as Tennessee Titans starting QB this season.
- So Dolphins will close 8-9. This 6 year rebuild brought us 2 wild card losses, an incredible Tua performance in Week 2 in Baltimore 3 years ago, some entertaining 1 p.m. home games against bad teams, 1 win vs. Bills and two neat 4:25 home wins vs. Dallas, 49ers. That covers it.
- NFL announces that even if Dolphins win one more game than Denver, Broncos will get last playoff spot because they play in a tougher division. (Kidding. But this shows lunacy of college system.)
- Marlins Man, season ticket holder since 1993, hasn't renewed and is furious with prospect of paying big league prices "for Triple A team."

- BREAKING: Whiteside says it's "bull shit" that Heat doesn't use him late when other teams go small. Unsure of future here. Whoa.
- Tua 36 for 50, 469, 6 TDs, 124 rating in this historic 42-38 win
- Houston Chronicle reports Dolphins & Texans have agreed on trade terms for Watson, but Dolphins want his legal issues resolved before consummating deal (good luck with that).Chronicle suggests Ross wants clarity from Goodell on length of potential suspension (good luck with that)
- News: Regarding report about message to non Heat teams, Lillard's agent, Aaron Goodwin, tells me: "I do what I should for my client. Some teams I did call. Other teams have called me. It's a respectful relationship with most teams. Truthfully, he wants to play in Miami. Period."
- Steelers assistant coach Brian Flores told ESPN that this is not a revenge game for him. He declined to speak with South Florida reporters this week, so we won't be able to ask him for an update on Will Fuller's finger.
- If Joe Cronin is bored tonight watching his 8-21 team being drubbed at home by the 4-25 Spurs, maybe he can turn on League Pass and watch what all the young Heat players that he scoffed at are doing at Golden State.
- A 469 yard, 6 TD day for Tua. A 28 point fourth quarter. Insanity
- Nothing serious/alarming revealed in further Tua testing today. He's doing well.
