But Dr. Peter Juni, a member of the Science Advisory Table, said on CBC this a.m. the table did NOT advise the closing of playgrounds (which the gov did do) + DID advise for paid sick time + closing more non-essential workplaces (which the gov. did not do).
I asked Premier Doug Ford's office yesterday for a comment on the Ambassador Bridge blockade, and several of his ministers and didn't get any responses. I have asked a few times again this morning.
UPDATE ON ROD PHILLIPS STORY: Where did he go on his August trip outside of the country? His office now tells me it was a "personal trip to Switzerland." I had asked again this a.m. where he went + if it was a vacation or had an essential purpose.
