The sound after this goal is so good.

Seen a few claim that Arteta doesn't love the club (which is an absurd thing to say) and that he isn't 'proper Arsenal,' whatever that means. Few will speak about the club like he does here.

There is someone wearing a mask of St. Pauli's manager, Ewald Lienen, in the Ducksch photo. Incredible.

Thomas Lemar's dad doesn't want him to join Arsenal yet? Guess he didn't get the memo that Mr. Arsène Wenger is Thomas' dad now.

Here’s a thought: Mesut Özil, who has missed many games with a back spasm before under Arsène Wenger, actually had a back spasm.

"Is he black?" - Yes. "Is he French?" - Yes. "Is he a midfielder?" - Yes. "New Patrick Vieira then."
Reports in France suggest Steven N'Zonzi is in London to talk about a move to Arsenal. Maybe Arsenal are finally going to replace Vieira.

Gary Neville’s mental gymnastics about United being bad are funny. Complains about there being too many expensive players (Alexis, Lukaku) and not enough chances for youth, and now he’s complaining that Solskjær doesn’t have enough “experienced” players and has to rely on youth.

Anel Ahmedhodžić against IFK Norrköping – a strong example of a centre-back progressing possession with passing. Excellent technique, good vision and tempo, punching the ball into valuable areas/situations between lines. First go on @MetricaSports' annotation tool too.

Media rhetoric on Özil shifts from "Arsenal must keep him to be a big club" to "he isn't worth the money" after two games. Remarkable.

Ayyoub Bouaddi has a big future. Here's my profile on his athletic potential, clean passing, elusive dirbbling, stretchy tackling, all to explain why he would be a good fit for Arsenal—and pretty much every other big club going.

That said, while the BBC do a lot of fantastic work with and for the NFL, hiding three quarters of a headline game behind the red button - which isn't even HD! - to make room for a chimpanzee documentary is pathetic. Total waste of a thrice-in-a-year opportunity.

Arne Slot was my #1 pick for the development of Lucas Bergvall, but Big Angelos Postecoglu would've been high up on my list too. I much prefer Spurs as his next step than Barça. I wrote well over 3,000 words on him, his profile and his potential for SCOUTED. Read below.
