Fargo Post 2 is incredibly saddened to report that Jim Pettersen passed away today after a battle with COVID-19. Pete was not only our leader & the face of Post 2 but a great friend.
Our sincere condolences go out to Sandi, Sara, Leslie, Jamie and the entire Pettersen family

CONGRATULATIONS to the 13u Fargo Dirt Dawgs on winning the Babe Ruth World Series. They defeated Greenville, NC 8-2 to cap off an unheard-of PERFECT baseball season of 56-0. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Our historic 2019 season has come to an end with a 5-3 loss to Idaho in the ALWS Championship game. Congratulations to @Ifbandits.

We started our season on 6/7 away in Williston, ND and now we are playing over 1750 miles from there in the last Legion game in the country tonight!!

We want to let the baseball community know that our Vice Chairman, Jim Pettersen is in a hospital in AZ. Pete is currently on a ventilator and has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Pettersen family asks for your thoughts and prayers at this time.

To any Post 2 baseball fans/followers that are going to the Twins vs Indians game on Sat evening try and get there early. Post 2 Varsity has been invited by the @Twins to take part in a pregame ceremony to recognize our historic success this summer.

4/8/20 Great progress today as Jim is breathing on his own and the ventilator is turned off. If he does well and follows commands with less sedation, they will plan to remove the ventilator.
