    Historic heat wave in Lapland:In #Norway impressive 34.3C at Banak,it's the highest temp. ever above 70N in Europe and new record for Troms and Finnmark county. In #Finland 33.6C at Kevo,new record and highest temp. in Finnish Lapland since 1914,also record with 32.5C at Nuorgam.

    It's a historic day in #France. Calendar says 16 October but 35 stations today had temperatures above 30C ! The 32.6C at Navarrenx is the highest temperature ever recorded in France in the 2nd half of October. In Spain 33.3C.26C in Germany,25+ in Switzerland and Austria.

    Record heat wave in #Chile: Today 15 December it was the Chilean Hottest day ever recorded in December with 41.6C at San Felipe,41.2C at Llay Llay and 40.9C at Santa Maria, all in Valparaiso Region and all above the previous national record of 40.8C. Fresher from tomorrow.

    1 January 2022 is making history in USA: Hundreds of records are being smashed with summer like temperatures in the Eastern Plains. Currently Falcon Lake DCP in Texas stands at 99F/37.2C if this is approved and passes quality test it is the HIGHEST JANUARY TEMP. IN USA HISTORY.

    Breaking News:Few hours into 2023 and hundreds of records have already been broken in Europe. Temperatures are INSANE for a January night (like 19C in Poland and Switzerland),well above a July average ! Poland,Lithuania,Netherlands and Belarus have already a new national record.
