It’s been real, y’all. Many of you have offered true friendship, support, & teaching over these 12 years. for that I’m grateful. This account will stay live (in case of emergency + to avoid confusion/fakes) but I’m out. IG eve.ewing eveewing.com/newsletter P.S. wear a helmet

Thanks for having me! As I've stated elsewhere, I am the first Black woman to write the Black Panther series, but *not* the first to venture into the world of Wakanda. grateful to the Black women who have told these stories across multiple miniseries, one-shots, and other titles.

thanks to you and to others asking variations of this, which make me feel VERY supported! <3 i feel great, i ran the Chicago Marathon in October, I'm writing a ton, i love my friends, i'm constantly sad and overwhelmed by the world but remain committed & inspired.

hey fam i'm not really on here anymore. logged on today to manage some archive stuff as twitter dies, and saw this. i want you to know that the picture of your daughter 5 years ago literally gave me the strength to overcome fear & anxiety about harassment, to write the comic.

Congrats! Definitely adding this to the syllabus @JayantiOwens. Reminds me of this finding that disparities in suspensions in Chicago schools are driven by school-level, not student-level variation: schools with more Black students suspend more kids. consortium.uchicago.edu/sites/default/…
