this scene is one of the reasons it bothers me when people make him out to be some gary sue with no flaws and no depth because that's not true! his trauma and having to grow up too fast hardened him to the point where he's irritated like 70% of the time
"underprivileged, troubled kid grows up and becomes a cop" is like my least favorite character arc sorry 😩 it doesn't matter the context I'm always gonna hate it. hate it with my whole heart
also one of the reason I liked this episode because we get to see how soft, and sometimes insecure even, he can actually be when he doesn’t have to have that guard up all the time
cant fcking stand t*mebombers making jinx's final battle look all about their ship when it's actually jinx showing how much she loves her sister and how much she still looks up to her like even after everything vi is still jinx's hero
so when that keaton kid said “it’s not ok to pick on people who are different” he actually meant “it’s not ok to pick on people who are white supremacists”
that's why they specified *federal minimum wage not state minimum. either way, still ridiculous that a full tank would require almost a full day's worth of work
I'm pretty sure the animators use two different face rigs for her in season 1. I remember seeing something about that in the bridging the rift series on youtube
