    I can’t explain what it’s like to have so much love, hope, anger, frustration, and forgiveness for another human being. Losing a parent whose life was consumed by their addiction for as long as you can remember is an emotional pain I don’t wish on anyone. All I can hope is that

    went looking for my teenager and found her as she was jumping fully clothed into the lake (because she was laughing so hard she peed herself and didn’t wanna smell like pee) and idk there’s something that healed inside me a little bit seeing her living such a genuinely fun,

    You mean to tell me my mom moved back in with her abusive boyfriend and not even 36 hours later he finds her dead? And he’s the one that asked her to move in? And she posted concerning things to her Facebook hours prior to her dying? And he told the police he was her landlord?

    The best parenting advice I’ve ever gotten is having your children adapt to YOUR lifestyle. You spend time outside? Bring baby outside. You like to run? Bring baby on runs. You like to travel? Travel with baby. Don’t stop the things you love, include them so they can love it too.
