- A woman walked by while I was painting this and gave out to me for making her look so angry. She said it would be “much nicer with her looking happy.” I replied that she had a lot to be angry about.
- Hind ❤️ Those phone recordings will haunt me forever. I don’t even have the words for how absolutely heart shattering they were. Her terrified little voice. It should haunt us all forever for allowing this to happen.
- One for the kids. And the big kids *ahem* 🙋♀️ My girlfriend's kids got me into She-Ra & the Princesses of Power recently & I ended up binging all 5 seasons in a week. If you haven't watched it, do it. Not the 80s one, the reboot @Gingerhazing made. It is magic. It's on Netflix.🦄
- I sketched this piece a couple of weeks ago, and since then two more women have been murdered, Natalie McNally and Bruna Fonseca. This time last year the country came to a standstill, shell shocked with grief after the murder of Ashling Murphy.
- Finished this piece yesterday morning @TheBernardShaw of Sister Michael not impressed with the The Shaw being knocked down for ANOTHER hotel. We don't need more hotels, we need our creative spaces protected & we need affordable housing. Cheers for the nod of approval @siobhni 🙌
- I painted this @GretaThunberg piece last weekend. I designed it in 2019 after her UN speech and decided to paint it now to mark her 18th birthday in January & to remind people of her words in that speech and the fight against climate change we have ahead of us. 📸 @philipbromwell
- Go home Roger. And stay there as much as possible Roger*. *Do this even if your name isn't Roger. Throwing it back with this one! @TiaMowry @TameraMowryTwo #sistersister #coronavirus #stayhome
- Dublin Pride was yesterday, and I have a few thoughts on something. Separately they might seem like small things, but together it’s hard to feel it’s not targeted sabotage of a queer establishment. @st66dublin
- Teach kids about racism & privilege. Teach them to recognise their privilege- white, class, straight, cis, male privilege & teach them to be allies. Teach them to always stand up to racism & discrimination. Teach them to do better than the generations that came before them.
- Thank you Wael al Dahdouh for relentlessly showing the world what is happening in Gaza- both the strength and humanity of the Palestinian people, and the crimes Israel is committing against them.
