    For those who don’t know: My Dad has been diagnosed with ALS & Dementia. We have had extensive testing & consults. He has 6 months to live... maybe. I am devastated. In the car today he says “I wanted to see you make it to the big leagues”. I’m trying Dad, promise. 😔

    HS coaches sending players out to “hurry up and get loose” in 34 deg wx. No activation, stretching or dynamic warmup. Same guys who go to ABCA and then post “life changing”, “learned so much”, “can’t wait to help my players develop”. Nope, still the same old you.

    I get a lot of questions, too many in fact, about why HS pitchers velo decreases this time of year? The number of pitchers we worked with this winter and early spring who were 88-94 who have gone to 82-85 is just too many. Not all of our dudes, but enough of them. Many go to

    If you are calling pitches for your team and you suck at it... STOP. If a P shakes a sign you put in and has a good outcome from it, it’s not a shot at your ego. Just maybe... the P/C know something? Got a problem with it.. DM me. P/C need growth opportunities in-game.

    Fun fact: Started dieting and taking better care of myself Jan 21st of this year. Weighed in at 251.4 and I was miserable. Today: 221.2 feeling great, moving better and a lot of new clothes! Next goal 210! #youcandoit

    Grief is hard. I don’t care how “prepared” you think you are for a death. You’re just not. Listened to my Dad’s old voice mails and some recorded conversations. Not sure if that was a good idea or not but it’s all I have.... miss him... A LOT.

    Never coached my son on the field. (For many reasons) really just like being a Dad. However, on this winter trip I’ve had the opportunity to be his PC. Wearing my Dad’s number and watching him have success. ❤️❤️❤️ @minshall_alex
