To those saying 'if no alternations was the rule, then nothing unfair happened' please recognize that rules are not inherently neutral.
"Traditional" is not neutral.
Excluding cultural and personality signals is a choice.
Enforcing plainess and uniformity is a choice.

- Replying to @yuhlineI noticed a lady walking down my mom's street clearly confused, kept changing directions, gait off. She wasn't able to converse well but I offered water & snack and she said yes and downed both. Even if it was 'just' drugs she was better off with food & water, clearly needed them
- IDK but looks like the best dang day of that dog's life 🤯
- In case the end is nigh, my fav twitter moment was a highly improbable crossing of paths that reconnected me to a stranger I'd shared a Greyhound bus ride with almost 20 years prior...
- I nearly murdered a pain specialist I went to in excruciating pain following a car crash who brought up "ideal weight" re: damaged disc facets. Pretty sure the 10+Gs in crash wrecked my back, not an 'extra' 12lbs🙄 He also said he couldn't do anything about aging - I was 28!
- Replying to @emilyabellIt was heartwarming to find out my small act of kindness had an impact and that not only was the recipient doing OK, but they are actually kind of a big deal and still a fearless badass. So thank you (old) twitter for making this happen🥰 x.com/IanColdwater/s… @IanColdwater
- Replying to @erikbrynI also don't jump to conclusions about things posted on the interwebs, so I did some photoshop overlays to test for myself. Check it out fellow skeptics 🤓 [Initially lines covered up. Fade in bkrd. Then fade out lines' cover-up. Quick w/ random opacity %s so not smooth]
GIF - Replying to @AnLasair and @kevdogAlso the f--k shouldn't patients know about their conditions and something as basic and easily available as interactions for medications you take?!? Doctors arent able to manage health comprehensively, the system isn't even built for that, so why shouldn't patients!? Grr.
- I would love to just move on from the antiquated grad gowns, now using nasty overpriced disposable materials, and let people dress up however they wish. The idea of pretending we're all snobbing WASPs is outdated and unattractive IMO, and our bank statements don't fool anyone😆
- Replying to @mrgnbrmllI get looks at the g-d hospital in an n95 aura, ffs
- Replying to @seaweedanxiety and @twinkhoncreoleI don't think so because he's not paying for it, if anything could be fraud by Twitter trying to claim his videos are getting views when third parties are paying ( or x giving it to them for free?) to put it in your feed. Either way shady.
- Replying to @emilyabellBut then twitter put a tweet of theirs on my TL, tech or protest related?, and I liked it so they got the notif saying "Emily Abell liked your tweet" So they DM'd to ask if I was the same Emily Abell from the bus and linked to their prior tweet. I couldn't believe it! 🤯🤯🤯
- Replying to @jdsamson and @myrabatchelderThanks for sharing, it validates my concern. I still mask outside when socializing even tho I know it seems wacky to others. Unless there's a stiff breeze I figure air is still around, as someone super sensitive to smoke I'm more aware of outdoor air dynamics than most, lol.
- Yup, I want to be able to just screen for this: "If I bring my history as a very well written 2 page summary will you go "oh great!" Or refuse to read it b/c me reciting stuff off the top of my head for you to promptly ignore is for some reason your birthright?
