    Every single black & brown person in this country will recognise these mannerisms, the smirking, the unmerritted self assuredness. I first saw it 1st in the eyes of a girl I asked out in school, then I recognised it in some of my "friends" too. Pathetic.

    When we arrived in the UK I was aged 5. I had no English. The first few days of primary school were terrifying. But I was lucky enough to find one kid who would play with me. Only one. We've remained friends ever since. He was my best man too. That's the power of kindness.

    Here I am working in the NHS. I came to this country as a child refugee. I have only ever had a British passport & only ever considered myself a British citizen. The #NationalityandBordersBill means that my citizenship could be revoked without right of appeal. Thanks for that
