- Honestly, your experience is your experience. I made the choice to transfer colleges and it was the best decision I had made in such a long time ! Everyone is different. Do what you think is best for you mentally and physically. Transferring doesn’t necessarily mean quitting.When I was 18 years old, I signed an NLI to play basketball at the University of Florida in one of the top recruiting classes in the country. Guess what? It was hard, and I struggled. Instead of sticking it out, I transferred.
