- Today @ScribbleVC is born! I'm thrilled to announce that I've started Scribble Ventures (scribble.vc) a pre-seed, seed, and series A-focused fund, with @AnneliesGamble and a little help from @kevinweil.
- I want 10 male tech CEOs to pretend they are a nursing & pumping mom for 1 week. Sit in a room plugged in to a wall or 20 mins x 8/day. Go.
- Happy 5th birthday @thirdweil. I was ashamed to share this photo then; now a thriving human. You made me and @kevinweil parents. NICU babies and the nurses & doctors there are special people. I urge everyone to support the NICU near you and the parents living through that terror.
- I unfollowed @forbes. Tiny act, but time to earn back my attention. The most innovative women are busy building companies, leading people, and growing humans. Bye.
- Hiring hack I learned from @twitter: Fact - People tend to excel *only* in areas that interest them. Hack - Don't share a detailed job description. Instead ask candidates to write their own. What they actually want to do (vs. what YOU want them to do) will clearly surface.
- I am endlessly proud of @kevinweil. Great move for @openai & important to the world. Research is the root of all innovation for the near future. And it’s the best lens through which we can foresee the future. @kevinweil, get ready - I can’t wait learn at dinner each night! :)💥 I’m starting something new inside OpenAI! - 12 year ago, on the summer solstice, @kevinweil and I celebrated the longest day of the year with great friends, family, with no idea about journeys we would take together. Blessed and lucky to be married to my best friend, partner-in-crime, and father to 3 incredible children.
- Fifteen years ago today, this cool nerd cooked me dinner and got down on one knee to propose. He also baked the world’s most beautiful engagement angel food cake…in a bundt pan. 🤣@kevinweil, I love our minutes, days, and decades on this journey together.
