- 6, 7 and 8 year old kids playing ball in my neighborhood tonight. Grabbed my glove and put on an impromptu infield clinic under a street light in Chicago.
00:00 - I grew up w 2 parents that did everything for me for baseball. We didn’t have much money, yet I had a batting cage on our rural property. They were exhausted after working blue-collar, 9-5 jobs, yet never said “No,” when they came home and I had a bat or glove in my hand...I’m in Montana right now visiting family. Just passed by a baseball field by my parents house. This dad is throwing BP to his kid while holding up a twin mattress with his other hand... and it’s below freezing outside. Had to take a pic. This is dedication!

- A neighbor that moved to the United States w no exposure to baseball. Their 7 year old son has taken a liking to the game. I see her outside throwing a ball off of her condo wall almost every night...
