When she’s on caits left it’s the side she loses vision, she can’t see the manipulation. When she dies she falls on her right shoulder, the side she’d still be able to see. There’s so much symbolism with what side Caitlyn looks at things/people with I could make a fuckin thread

First I want to say what Caitlyn’s two sides mean generally. She loses her left eye to Ambessa in a fight she wouldn’t be in if she hadn’t let Ambessa’s influence get to as much. Her left represents what she’s blind to during the show though willful ignorance or manipulation

Kiramman key with her left hand, it was something she’d never wanted and now also feels she doesn’t deserve. Vi comes in on her right. Vi touches the right side of her face. Vi always sees who she is and is the only one to see her actually cry even if she still removes herself

I’ll be going through chronologically with the instances I think mean more than regular blocking Ep. 1 - Mel comes up to Caitlyn’s right, she’s genuine in supporting cait’s grief and stays genuine with her intentions throughout s2.

It represents her hatred and the consequences of her actions throughout the series. Her right eye is the one that stays clear, it looks to what she really wants and who she really is. This eye gets caught up in her turmoil, often being distorted in shots
