This is Sheik Murtala Chukwuemeka, the first Igbo man in the world that translated the Holy Qur'an into Igbo language. He has indeed done something that would be remembered until the end of times. May Allah reward him abundantly for this great milestone.

Remember what? When others were thinking about the future, we’re busy marrying more wives, giving birth anyhow, neglecting education, electing leaders who prioritise government house, flyovers while sharing rice, caskets, kettles, “shoe-shiner” kits, radios & camels as projects.

This man, now known as Amir Junaid Muhadith, used to be a famous US rapper called Loon—who sang the “I need a girl to ride my ride” song with P-Diddy. He converted to Islam in 2008, and is now into full-time Da’wah. Never judge someone. Never assume you’re more pious than others.

After watching this video, you will never disrespect any Nigerian soldier again. This video is very emotional. God bless our troops.

This life is scary. Everyone one on this picture is certainly dead just like many generations before them. We will also be dead one day and be remembered by many generations that would come after us. Such is life: a river that keeps flowing.

This evening, I paid a visit to my Uncle at investment quarters in Gombe, and saw his kids totally engrossed in their Dad’s computer. At first, I thought they were playing games which is the typical characteristics of most children at that age.

In an attempt to gain engagement, you’re only succeeding in bringing curses to Islam and to the values we hold dear. Imagine if this photo is that of Daurawa or Dahiru Bauchi dressed in a Catholic attire in a Vatican church. I’m sure you’d be miffed. Let us respect each other.

Former Governor Joshua Dariye who was convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison only to be pardoned by the President recently is the one ironically granting an interview on Channels, proffering solutions on how to tackle corruption in Nigeria. At first I thought it’s a skit.

This is 13-year-old Usman, an Almajiri boy from Maiduguri. Because he doesn’t like to beg, he learnt how to shine and repair shoes from his brother where he earns an average of N500 a day. When I asked him about school, he said: “even if I want to school, no one will sponsor me.”
